Sanford Lake Park Reviews & Ratings

  • I'm giving a 3 start only because I haven't really explored the area. But at first glance the beach area is nice. There was some sort of film in one area that wasn't appealing but most of the beach area was nice. I didn't visit the toilets so I can't speak about those. I'm looking forward to coming again with chair, umbrella and lunch to spend an afternoon.

  • This was a great place for a picnic. Not too crowded, no seaweed in swimming area and functioning restrooms. I like the added touch that we could purchase ice from the little shack. If your looking for a good place to go for a kids birthday, this is a great park. The splash zone was a huge plus for the kids.

  • The park overall is nice. The children’s splash part is wonderful and the disc golf course is good. The lake itself is sort of gross. So much seaweed and it is so cloudy. Not pleasing to swim in at all.

  • We were only there to pick up family after an accident. Looks like a place I'd love to visit. Beware of entrance at Irish rd. People tend to run the stop sign!

  • The beaches a very clean, clean bathroom. The park employee's are always around. As many times i have been there thru out the years I have never had a bad experience.
