About Salaulim Dam, Sanguem
Another beautiful location for all nature lovers alike, this is a must visit spot if you happen to be in South Goa. The place is rather quite and serene, with just the sounds of chirping local birds to welcome you. There’s beautiful lush green botanical gardens that are nearby this place, as well. The place gets decked up abundantly during monsoons and you can witness the fabulous view from the top of the dam. The place is perfect for a day out picnic with family and friends. It must be noted that it lies in the nominal security area and one must tread with slight caution here.

Salaulim Dam, Sanguem Reviews
Best... 🙌... Very amazing, fabulous, pleasant view. Dam is very cleverly design without a doubt. The canal view is awesome, Damm high, Ridge. Thrilled to stand around there. The Dam's architecture is very finely and accurately described as result we see. Must visit. And yes here's a security guards are watching your activities for protecting, safety purposes. Thank you...
Beautiful dam by the way of its construction of water exit from the reservoir. This makes the dam unique form other. From the enterence we need to take a ticket and walk to the dam area, its hardly 1KM. There is well maintained beautiful garden in front if the dam. The place is not crowed so that you can enjoy the place. Restrooms are in the park area. Photography is not allowed in the dam.
A chance discovery in Goa, this will remain one of the most memorable places I've ever visited. The dam structure is mesmerising, and it is not very crowded. The best time to visit the dam would by on late July/early August, right after the monsoons, when the surroundings are lush green, and the water is flowing in full force.
Man made wonder, worth a visit away from the beaches of Goa. The view is breathtaking near the reservoir. They also have a well maintained botanical garden which is used by locals for picnics. Place is extremely peaceful overall
A huge dam with the best surroundings. Great place for photography sessions. And a good picnic spot too.
