About Torre Malatestiana, Orciano Di Pesaro
Located in the region of Terre Roveresche, the Torre Malatestiana is a tower that stands tall, almost as if watching over the village. This historical landmark was built and unveiled to the public in 1348 by Galeotto Malatesta and is named after him. It was intended as a guard against the rebellion brewing in the Fano countryside. It was later restored during the Renaissance. It is a distinguishable tower which you can see from almost anywhere in the village and it dominates the setting of the entire village. The tower is beautiful and is a must visit for anyone who loves history and architecture.
