Catedral De Santa Maria - Review
The first building to see a Christian service at this location may have been a Moorish mosque, but after Eivissa was taken on August 8, 1235, a church was constructed on the location. Enlarged over the years, this church atop Dalt Vila’s hill and inside it’s fortifications became the 16th century Catalan Gothic and Baroque church you see today. Now functioning as the principal church of the city, the cathedral is known for its solid appearance and a small museum of art containing a late 14th century Gothic monstrance and some paintings. The area around the church is lively with bars and restaurants. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Ibiza itinerary 5 days.

Catedral De Santa Maria, Ibiza Reviews
An old church with awesome view of the surrounding area. A steep climb for some but worth the effort if you go for it. Check out the view from the wall facing the ocean. Jaw dropping.
Wonderfully quiet place of worship, architecturally beautiful, calm and magic. Sadly only for the adventurous because of it's position right on top of the hill overlooking the old town. The descent after we went to Mass there at 10.30am on the Sunday morning was exhilarating to say the least, with extremely well-worn cobbles polished smooth by countless feet.
Beautiful and serene cathedral. It is free to visit inside. Has the option to light a candle which we did for two special persons.
Beautiful besides partying
Worth view on the top. Nice walk by night.
