Located on the outskirts of the village of El Perello in Tarragona, this little chapel is a must visit when you are in Spain. The chapel was initially meant as a promise to the citizens of San Roque to free them of the disease of cholera. Although it was not completed in 1885, the construction resumed and was finished after 90 years in 1976. It was built in dedication to San Cristobal and the Virgin of Montserrat. It is located in a beautiful setting with lots of recreational options around. You can even enjoy a barbecue in the evening in the park. The chapel is busy all the year round with festivities and charities that the church undertakes. Make sure you visit this stunning little gem!
