Great place. To see everything you need to spend a whole day there. Animal shows are very entertaining and you get to feed some ;) Parking is reasonable, 4 euros. There is a big aviary cage where you can get in touch with birds and lizards. Fun time!
A great day out but ruined by food poisoning in restaurant.. me and my wife are currently lying in bed with all the known symptoms of food poisoning. We both ordered the chicken in the restaurant just yesterday. Last night we both began feeling unwell and had to return back to the hotel ( my wife vomited in the street).. we are currently in bed ill.. and we only have 2 days of our holiday left.. as you can imagine in really upset about this and will be taking it further.. we never complain but this has went too far - come on jungle park get your ass into gear .. youve ruined our last few days .
Great zoo, isn't that large so easy to get about but has plenty of animals to see. Enclosures for the big cats are a bit depressing as they seem so small for such large animals. Sea lion show is brilliant, the rapport between the animals and the trainers makes it a great show. The jungle style layout works well because there is plenty of shade during the day so you don't have to be in the sun all day. Free bus there and back is a nice little service as it's a bit out of the way. Food is expensive but we expected that and took our own picnic. Although we couldn't find a specific picnic area and all the restaurants have a strict no picnic policy.
The bird show was the best I've seen with more species than I could have imagined. The jungle has many different tropical species and it is a great photograph opportunity. The food is expensive but we all know this is how the world works. There are pictures taken at the beginning but you don't HAVE to buy them at €8 each but we did because we liked them. We saw the sea lion show and it was as good as I've seen in other places. Some enclosures appeared small but I'm unsure if this was just for viewing and they had larger areas behind. The animals were tired and hot as we're all of us tourists. It is a very green place with shade but for us 5 hours was the most we could handle in the heat and luckily we were at the end. The bobsleigh is great but €4 a time and the maps are a little hard to follow but you're on holiday which cares? There are taxis outside but a free bus runs too. I would even return again.
Lovely park. Great bird show. Is quite hilly & very very expensive for a drink even water! Take your own food and drink €4.50 for a small bottle of water ! Still nice to visit though.
