Great time here, but beware of staff and their bird walking about. They'll give you a bird and then takes photos. If you're concerned about photos of yourself and family, make sure they ask for your permission before photos. At the end of the day, they will provide you photos they took. €8 per photo if interested. Makes you think what they will do with the rest of the photos, hopefully they'll destroy them unwanted ones.. Friendly staff, friendly birds and animals, good paths, jungle feels. Recommended for all families.
Very nice, comfy zoo. Not too big, with great shows and attractions for kids. We spend there 5.5 hour (kids 10 and 13). There is only one small complain: every commentary during the shows were too fast with a very strong accent and it was almost impossible to understand that. My teenagers didn't get anything. For our luck animals were so great that we don't regret that time.
Nice enough park, but found myself going round in circles. Went to see penguin feeding but only enough room for a few people. Went to sea lion show.. Was pretty boring. Went to sit down at the restaurant at the sea lion show, and, despite spending 7 yes seven euros on a slush puppy, was booted out because wasn't buying their food. Loads of empty tables as well. Lots of rope brides etc which are fun. Not many jungle animals.
Really enjoyed our day out here. The bird display was out of this world. Lost a star due to the high priced food. Most expensive chips I have ever seen at 6euros. Easy to navigate though. Especially enjoyed the lemer enclosure we walked through. Really helpful having a free bus to major local areas. Kids loved it. Worth the visit.
Great place to visit. Great shows great staff you can hire a mobility scooter if you need one but as there is only 2 first come first served I'm afraid but it is only €13 to hire. There are a lot of animals to see and lots of information about the animals to read. All in all a great day out
