Las Aguilas Jungle Park, Santa Cruz De Tenerife Reviews

  • This is the local zoo for Costa adeje, we went here on a bus, the hotel has someone in the reception who recommends all the good excursions for you to do while you are there. Got the local free bus to the zoo, but you pick up people from all the hotels around wanting to do this sane as you. But then you get on the road to the local zoo, I think it was 80 euros to swim with the dolphins, in addition to this there is a great dolphin show, you can sit in the restaurant as you watch the dolphin show Also there is a look to see here lions, tigers no bears pardon the punt, In addition to this there is also a very good bird show Though there is no taken photos as you enter the zoo as there is a photographer wanting to take your photo, but I passed you collect them at the end of your visit 6 euros each. But IMHO they shouldn't take your photo if you are not allowed to take photos as you enter.

  • Park is an average zoo. Not heaps of animals but a good selection. Beware of the free bus, we were told they run back hourly where this isn't the case. Upon arrival we was shown the times the free bus would operate which was in the evening - therefore giving taxis a reason to sit outside the park. We left and there were around 10 taxis waiting outside for early leavers- no doubt as you would walk around this place 3 or 4 times to kill time waiting for the free bus. Photos with the eagles cost 8 euros when leaving- they are already printed but will be disposed of if you don't pay. Your not allowed to take your own photo with the eagles so your roped into paying. Seal show is good and bird show also but bird show is only on once a day.

  • We enjoyed our day but felt food, drink and photos were expensive once inside the park. Employees were very pushy to get you to have a photo taken at several places throughout the park and would push birds into your arms randomly. There is a play area for older children and a bob sleigh ride. We enjoyed the shows but found it difficult to find a place in the shade. It was too hot to sit in the sun. The park was very clean. We enjoyed seeing the animals, especially the guinea pig enclosure where you could feed and pet the guinea pigs. I would have liked to have seen some hand sanitiser dispensers for use but there wasn't any. Overall a good day out.

  • It was a great experience to visit Jungle Park. There was a lot of animals to be seen. The shows where funny and very exhilarating. The only thing that made it four stars was the prices. For example we took photos at the beginning of our trip we took photos with some parrots and each photo at the end was 10 euros. We bought 3 and we had to spend 30 euros. They should at least make a discount like buy 2 photos get the 3rd one free so it would be more reasonable. Overall my family and I had a great time there.

  • I really liked it at jungle park. There was the cool obstacle course which was fun and that led to these toboggan ride at the end. The seal show was really good and you could pay to swim with them (we didn't but you could). It's not a huge zoo but it has lots of different animals and the design is cool because it's sort of like your walking in the jungle. I'd say though to take some lunch! It's stupid expensive for food!!! Appart from that great!!
