Located between Main beach and Cowell’s beach, the Santa Cruz Wharf is a behemoth of a structure that goes deep into the sea. Sprawling a length of 836 meters, the wharf is the longest on the whole of West Coast. Apart from giving an astounding view of the Pacific waters, the wharf is also home to a number of restaurants, wine tasting rooms, gift shops, small markets and candy shops. A fun activity also to do here is observing the sea lions who climb up to the base of the platforms of the wharf and can be seen lazing around.

Santa Cruz Wharf Reviews & Ratings
Really gorgeous place, lots of nice vendors and attractions. It's great to be able to walk along side the beach and the ocean. One girl was making flower friend which were beautiful. And if the sun gets too hot you can just take a breather inside one if.the arcades or restaurants.
Fun place to see sea otters and sea lions. Very charming and some good seafood restaurants at the end of the pier. It gets chilly at night so bring a coat or sweater. The sunsets are awesome. Travel North a bit to see the Big Basin State Park for incredible views of redwoods. Oh yeah, ice cream at the end of the pier. Good stuff.
It's a nice place and so beautiful when the sun goes down! 😍. But there are a bit too much cars, I think. When the sun is shining you have a nice view about the coast and the beach, where you can go swimming, when it's not too cold.
3.5 Stars. Parking is easy and cheap for quick visits. The sea lions are a fun, "must-see" California experience, and the views are incredible. We only had issue with the restroom facilities and the cleanliness of the areas outside the restaurants. Both made us uncomfortable and nervous about spending more time there.
I noticed the last couple of years that the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is really cleaned up their act during cleanliness of the property staining of the concrete and they really cleaned up made it look like the more more little more modern Park even though it's an old part but it's it's really cleaned up and that's really nice to see that the wharf itself is still the old Wharf it's high maintenance. It can be difficult but I see there's construction going on and hopefully they'll get their standards up a little higher on the wharf and and eating the meal out of the end of the restaurant that's always good I recommend the flounder thank you guys
