Located between Main beach and Cowell’s beach, the Santa Cruz Wharf is a behemoth of a structure that goes deep into the sea. Sprawling a length of 836 meters, the wharf is the longest on the whole of West Coast. Apart from giving an astounding view of the Pacific waters, the wharf is also home to a number of restaurants, wine tasting rooms, gift shops, small markets and candy shops. A fun activity also to do here is observing the sea lions who climb up to the base of the platforms of the wharf and can be seen lazing around.

Santa Cruz Wharf, Santa Cruz Reviews - Write a Review
This place is beautiful to just relax and enjoy the ocean. If you come at the right time, you can see sea lions from a pretty close distance. They built a fence area just for that! Coming here before sunset will give you an amazing experience that you have to watch with your own eyes.
Besides the diverse restaurants and shops, there are great views from the wharf. Try it near sunset perhaps when you go to dinner. Always bring a camera to the wharf. I've been able to park on the wharf, but at times it can be a hassle. There are nearby lots off the wharf if you like to walk. Check out the sea lions at the end of the wharf. Lots of good people watching too.
This is a fun place to take a walk. It is free to walk across, but appeared to be a charge for cars to drive on to. There are several Restaurant options and the views are great! The restrooms were very well stocked with toilet paper!
Great views of the nearby Lighthouse on West cliff, the Boardwalk, and on clear days a South facing panorama of the entire Monterey Bay. With tons of restaurants and some clothing/candy stores it's a great place to visit with the family or to stop by on a beach day. Parking is relatively cheap and most restaurants validate. Definitely stop by.
A wonderful wharf and Pier especially if you visit around sunset! The Pier has many shops and restaurants to dine at and you also get a good view towards the Santa Cruz Boardwalk with all the rides and ferris wheels. There is paid parking on the wharf although the walk on the Wharf from the road is a very pleasant one.
