Iglesia de Santa Engracia is a small catholic church located in the city of Zaragoza. The place started as a Christian chapel where the remains of Santa Engracia and many other Zaragoza martyrs were worshipped. The church is home to two Christian Sarcophagi created by Roman workshops preserved in the crypt of the church. It saw a lots of struggle and was nearly demolished during some fights back then. The place reinstated itself and today, it is one of the most revered churches in the city. The lovely architecture of the building is done in Renaissance style and is a cover-altarpiece that reflects the royal patronage of the monastery. Deeply religious people and those with ardent love for history, this place has a lot to offer along with pictures, stories and good time. A must visit in Zaragoza.
