  • What a boon to the people of Santa Fe to have this trail system right in their own backyard! Very well marked trails suitable for hiking, mountain bikes or horses. Pet friendly. Bring water, sunscreen and snacks if you want to do a longer hike. Parking is ample. Everyone we encountered on the trail was courteous and friendly. Highly recommend.

  • I loved the scenery and it was a good climb. There were many trails and good views. So close to downtown and a great workout

  • Great open area, easy to hike and climatize for people like me who come from sea level origins. Meet friendly locals and wildlife. Take care as I almost ran into couple rattlesnakes, literally. Nice for 1st hike in area.

  • Enjoyed this place. Great hiking all levels and well marked trail. Some sections steep terrain at some parts. Saw several mountain bikers riding this. I would rank MBT moderate to advance. You need to be a good hill climber.

  • Not great trails for biking. Probably just fine for hiking. Cool country. A bad note: our car got broken into on Cerro gordo (probably butchered name) on one access for Dale Ball trails. Park where there are lots of cars. Take your precious stuff with you. Just saying.
