Diablo Canyon Recreation Area Reviews & Ratings
Awesome spot, really enjoyable rock climbing and decent camping. The porta-potty was super full ( memorial day weekend ) but the area was quiet. if you like to rock climb this is the spot for you. Nice people and dog friendly. Bring your own toilet paper. The road is rough (lots of "wash boards" most of the drive) :)
Fun hike! Love the scenery!

Beautiful New Mexico landscape. Great for a day hike but be careful, the trails can be rough. Be sure to bring plenty of water and extra gear. The temperatures can swing drastically, especially in the winter. I liked it better before it was developed with campsites.
Out of the way and wonderful spot to access the Rio Grande.
