The El Rancho de las Golondrinas is a living history museum where you can travel back in time to see a part of New Mexico in the 18th century. Don Juan Bautista de Anza rested here with his force in 1780 and the 200 acre land time-warps to still hold the same ambience of that time. The place has a shop where you can buy locally made products, options for food and a map for self-guided tours!

New Mexico Residents’ Special:

• New Mexico residents have free admission on Wednesdays, June 1 to October 2.

The place is open from June to October annually.

June 1 through October 2:

• Self-guided tours: Wednesday to Sunday from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Limited admission after 3pm.
• Docent guided tours: available by reservation. A free daily guided tour is available with admission at 10:30 am (except for festivals and theme weekends).
• Groups of 10 or more must call the tour office in advance.

April, May and October:

• Open Monday to Friday for Docent guided tours by reservation only.

Special Hours:

• Santa Fe Wine Festival (dates change annually)
• Santa Fe Renaissance Fair (dates change annually)
