The Shed Creative Cooking Reviews & Ratings
It was a long wait for a table, but worth every minute. Service excellence (thanks Luis) and outstanding New Mexican food. Amazingly good Margaritas. Spicy chili, but in a lip numbing very tasty way. Don't shy away if there is a long wait. Just plan to enjoy.
The 40 minute wait was worth it. We ordered drinks and waited in the courtyard which was pleasant. The shed gold was fantastic. Then we were seated in the courtyard and ordered our meals. The meals came in a timely manner and were delicious. One of the best dining experiences during the week long visit to the area.
Being born and raised in NM, I've eaten a LOT of New Mexican food. In Albuquerque, Sadie's is my go-to favorite, but the Shed has that beat. I ordered the Chicken Enchilada plate with Red & Green. The green Chile was really good (tasted like fresh roasted with garlic, salt and a little oil), but the red is just perfect. The chicken was juicy and cooked right. Let me put it this way: As I was eating, I was sad because I knew that once I was finished, I would have to wait a very long time to have that taste again. Luckily for me, I forced myself to NOT finish the plate, just so I could have left-overs for the next day (also a treat). My least favorite part was the salsa; just a 5/10 for my palate. Overall a great dining experience and I highly recommend this one of kind eatery!!
Tourist destination in the heart of down town. Came here for drinks around 630pm, it was packed! Luckily we were able to snag a table in the bar area. They do not serve bar snacks at the tables however, just drinks. Frozen margaritas were great. My friend got the mango & I got the blood orange, mine was very tart, but strong.
First time here. Busy place for a Wednesday but we'll worth the wait. Andy (I think that was his name) was super friendly and quick. Had the Shed burger with green chili. Delicious.
