The Church of One Tree is an absolutely magnificent venue and was constructed in the year 1873 from a tall redwood tree that stood tall at a height of 275-foot. The Church was later restored in the year 2009 but even today, it been able to retain most of its breath-taking original structure combined with contemporary upgrades. Also, from the 1950s until 1998, the Church served as the Ripley Memorial Museum and was stocked with memorabilia and curiosities of Believe it or Not! The Church also serves as an ideal venue for weddings with its stunning facades, glass windows, beautifully created interior and all the facilities that it offers.

Church Of One Tree Reviews & Ratings

  • I have been going there ever since I was a little girl. It is a beautiful park great place for kids to play. Luther Burbank home is across the street.with his garden.I have been going there my whole childhood. And lived across the street so my children are very familiar with the history. I got to know Mrs Burbank and have tea and cookies with her she would tell stories about Mr Burbank. It was a great time in my life.

  • The famous landmark in downtown Santa Rosa where all the tourists like to visit. I enjoy taking friends that visit Santa Rosa to Ripley's Believe It or Not Church of One Tree.

  • Good architecture

  • beautiful.

  • Granted, this is a BEAUTIFUL venue ... BUT ... they claim that they have air conditioning which FAILED during the wedding I attended. I do not suggest you have your event here when the weather is above mildly warm. Also, there is NO kitchen and because we had to have both the front doors and the rear door open, flies became a hassle. If you are the Emcee, from where you stand, you can not hear the volume inside the Hall. Parking is a joke. Altho the manager said there would be two workers, there was only one and He let some people NOT with the wedding party walk thru the area to get into the park. There should be a second room off to the side because there's only one little dressing room for the bride, which cuts off the second bathroom. If you DO decide to use this venue during hot weather, bring two to four HUGE fans.
