Today, after surviving a missile attack, the place has since been reconstructed and cherished for it stories and history. Take a tour here to know all about the building and all its hidden stories or simply attend a show at its cultural center.

La Moneda Palace, Santiago Reviews
Quite an embarrassment to show this place to Foreigner Friends. Such a dirty palace, dog poo in the park, street dogs around the palace. Surrounded by fences everywhere and smells like pee during the night and even worst during the day. Its the unfortunate reality.
Beautiful space. Nice shops inside as well.
Where : Palacio de La Moneda – Santiago - Chile Title: Nicer with the changing of guard ceremony Palacio de La Moneda is the seat of the President of the Republic of Chile. It also houses the offices of three cabinet ministers according Wikipedia. If you take the Free walking tour they get you there or you can just take a chance to go around Santiago downtown and for sure you will get there. You can confirm online which days of the week they have the traditional changing of guard ceremony that it’s something special to watch and you can film, take pictures, it’s pretty cool. Just get there a little earlier to get a good spot in the middle of lots of people that are waiting to see it. Again, just take care of your wallets and enjoy the history and the beautiful building architecture. Grade: Eli = 4, Serge = 4 Recommend: Nice place to visit, more special during the changing of guard as mentioned, we totally recommend it.
The best part is the ceremony for change of guards which happens every alternate day. The band plays amazing songs. You can pre book tours of the palace if you want to go inside.
I admire the Values and Human side of President Michelle Bachelet ,she brings light to the Le Moneda Palace ,and wish to the great people of Chile always to follow the human Values of Liberte Egalite Fraternite ..that after all remains in this World we live..
