Built in the late 19th century for Isidora Goyenechea and Don Luis Cousino, the lavish Palace Cousino is one of the most beautiful buildings which embellish Santiago's history.

Don Luis Cousino could not live to see the palace but his widow lived here with 6 children. The Cousino family owned Silver mines and was one of the richest families during their times in Santiago.

The lavish furnishing, beautiful architecture and true-to-time details of the place give it, its authentic charm. After the earthquake of 2010, the place is closed for renovation.

However, the Palace is still worth taking a walk around during pleasant evenings.
