Designed by Rene Orellana and Beatriz Silva, the steel structure at the square was inaugurated in 1980 and since then, it adds yet another feather in Santiago's artsy hat.
The place also has a fountain built in 2005 with 119 water spouts that add yet another beautiful element to the Plaza.
