Ancient Thira, Santorini Reviews
If you're going to Greece or cruising the Med, you just have to go there. Catch a cable car or a mule to the whitewashed buildings at the top of the volcanic island cliffs. From the sea the buildings look like snow! We spent the morning getting lost in the maze of shops where we bought the most exquisite table cloth. Then we had a relaxing lunch at a restaurant soaking in the view 350m above the sea! Have a look at my photos and see for yourself.
Santorini is beautiful. Like a place from a story book. It’s just magical wherever you go on this island. You get to see the stoned streets. The white and blue houses. The food is so fresh here it’s incredible. This is one of my favorite islands in the Greek Isles. An absolute must see!
Stunning island, with picturesque views from the top! Lots of tiny little roads, shops, and cute little spots to discover. Beautiful views of the ocean and island. An iconic must-visit spot in Greece!
Santorini was amazing, it is definitely somewhere you should go to. though not all the city's have a lot of blue domes. Make shore that you do not get lost.
Not sure what the fuss is about Santorini although the views are stunning the villages are small and have the usual array of gift shops and restaurants with very crowded narrow streets. The beaches can be reached by bus for less than a few euros don’t bother with local taxis as they are expensive, once at the beaches they’re not anything special busy and narrow with black sand average bars etc. I suppose the fact that 3 cruise ships arrived at the same time of loading 12000 people made the queue for the chair lift more than 3 hours long
