  • A sparkling experience to the history under the ground, a true hidden gem in the heart of the city. Staffs are engaging, knowledgeable and passionate! What a beautiful collection and is recommended to anyone that loves anything shinny. The museum is not big but certainly very interesting.

  • Incredible!! I took my parents here who were visiting from overseas. My mom is a bit of a collector herself and she said this place was impressive! We loved it from beginning to end. I can’t wait to take my children!

  • It was very enjoyable. My 4 year old loved the dinosaur bones and fossils.

  • An absolutely amazing collection. Such a privilege to see a work of a lifetime. Great presentation and a credit to the curators who look after it

  • The home of part of the Warren Somerville collection of minerals and fossils. The only way to describe the quality and variety of the specimens that are on display would be "jaw dropping". I was lucky enough to see his collection when it was still on display at his orchard in Orange. I made sure that I had the time to visit every time I was passing. The time was never a waste as there was always something different on display. These days are no different. Only a third of the available collection is on display at any one time so make the time to drop by whenever you are passing through Bathurst.
