The museum of modern art was built in 1948 and boasts of a huge collection of exemplary work by artists like Anita Malfatti, Marc Chagall, and Pablo Picasso. The striking work by Brazilian and other internationally acclaimed artists is put on display and the tour of around two hours is absolutely enjoyable. You will be amazed to see the geometric paintings, landscapes, and paint in tiles. The colours have been so beautifully gelled by the artists that it leaves you speechless. There is a sculpture garden, restaurant, and a gift shop in the premises from where you can take some souvenirs. Take a round and fall in love with art.
