Royalty is conspicuous and rightly so the Casa Brasileira is one such symbol of regal living built in the 1940's by one of the patriarchs of a powerful family. The museum is known for its exhibits from the  17th to 19th century, many of which include the artifacts of the daily life of the alleged bourgeois.

It's a relatively small museum, so don't spend a lot time of here.

  • Very small place, but with amazing items from the Brazilian culture. I think it could have more pieces of a wider span of history... but it is very interesting and beautifully set

  • Small place, but the fixed exposition is pretty cool. Also, they have a garden on the back which is pretty cool to take the kids.

  • As a museum I do not get this place However the Brunch on Sundays is fantastic

  • Old mansion made museum, as with any museum, how much is it worth it a visit really depends on what's on display. There's a pleasant garden at the back, and the restaurant is really good (especially weekday lunches)

  • Worth a visit. A little bit of São Paulo city history.
