  • Not even remotely worth the overinflated price per night. The beds were small and stiff, the bathroom was constantly drippy and had poor ventilation, and the room was constantly super dry, giving us both sore throats every morning. The AC also kept turning off and resetting itself to hotter than the summer air outside. The tv options were also amazingly bad. $15 a night to have access to a handful of 2+ year old unpopular movies. At over an average of $200/night I expected a lot more. The last night cost nearly $500. I know rooms were limited this week, but I felt this place was a rip off. I've stayed at far better places everywhere else in Japan for less than half the price. For the price I paid for 6 days, I could have rented a house for a month, would have had a better experience and still would have had money left over. Avoid.

  • Do not be deceived by it's appearance. Booked 2 rooms 4 adults in total, and even despite showing them the booking confirmation, they insisted we booked for 5 people. However, since the charges were the same we didn't make a big deal out of it. After checking in, as we were going to our room, the lady asked if we required 3 beds despite telling her repeatedly we only had 4 adults staying there. To which, she suggested that if that's the case, we could come back to her tmr to change to a twin room. I was less than please, as she should have just given us the room we booked for in the first place (this was no upgrade). The 3rd bed was just a sofa bed which could have just been put away instead of changing rooms. Regardless, on first sight, we were pleased with our rooms, (we booked non smoking, high floor double & twin bedded). However, we were not so thrilled about the tired and faded looking carpeting (with what looked like mould spots around) and the bed and pillow were really hard and stiff. The pillow was actually semi fluffy on one side, and beaded on the other. The bed was very hard, despite looking soft and luxurious. To be honest, sleeping on a futon laid on a tatami mat was so much more comfortable than the bed. The toilet seemed a little dingy as well. was rust around the toilet bowl area and floor under the sink. Service from the front desk was less than the standards of a usual Japan hotel, staff came off as unfriendly and as if we were causing her inconvenience despite always speaking calmly to her. Would I stay here again? I doubt so. The room is quite spacious compared to the usual japanese hotels and the location of the hotel is super convenient though. 7-11 is just across the road, and the station is 1 block away. But, with that price point or a little more, I would probably be able to find somewhere else as convenient but better in overall aspect.

  • Comfortable with the stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food are very nice, environment is very refreshing

  • The hotel location is convenient. Near susuko city area. However the buffet breakfast and spa was pretty average. Overall it's still worth the price, barely.

  • Not for foreign travelers. Staff doesn't speak English (it's ok, it's a Japanese hotel so it's really geared to Japanese tourists, but staff got us a taxi and sent it to the wrong airport which isn't good). Rooms are tired, carpet dirty, ceilings low. Breakfast is excellent in the beautiful Terra restaurant. Mystays Sapporo station was much better, newer, and closer to everything.
