The former Government Office’s red Building was built in the 1880s and houses a museum shop, the tourist information center, a conference hall, library and exhibition halls which themselves display some of the best architectural pieces you will see in Sapporo.

  • Beautiful old red brick building in the heart of Sapporo with lovely grounds that include 2 ponds. Good place to take photos and go for a short walk.

  • Pleasant walk thru the park to reach beautiful red brick building. Entrance is free and they give you directions on how to use the free Wi-Fi. Inside has lots of artifacts but not much is explained in English.

  • a good place worth to visit. but all the text is in Japanese only. almostly unable to read it.

  • Pretty place. There are some benches outside for you to sit and relax. We saw couples taking their wedding photos in traditional costumes the day we visited.

  • Nice place to visit, free admission and museum in the building, beautiful ponds with mallards and fishes, and pretty flowers. A cool place to visit during the summer.
