Ramen Alley, Sapporo-shi Reviews
We were a party of six out a little later when there were lots of people out and we were lucky to find a small shop with about 8 seats that had six or so different styles, draft beer and sake. Twelve thumbs up!
There are more than several mon and pop ramen restaurants in here, but we definitely picked the wrong one. Noodles were way too over cooked, soup was tasteless. Also I’d like to note that topping were soaked in the bowl. Terrible presentation of the food. If you go there avoid “Tokuichi Tomiya” or “徳一富屋”
A plethora of ramen for ramen enthusiasts, got the miso ramen that Hokkaido is famous for, wasn't disappointed. Small quaintly stalls are always a plus
Very delicious and authentic ramen you'll ever taste in Hokkaido! :) Very easy to locate, near the Susukino subway station or a 5 minutes walk from Odori park. The ramen chefs are also very hospitable and friendly.
Very typical Japanese ramen restaurant where you eat at the counter while you watch the chefs make them famous ramens. There are only 2 tables which are separate from the "noodle bar" which can accommodate 4 people per. They have english version of the menu and consists of around 12 ramen dishes to choose from (I think). The ramen I ordered was the standard shoyu ramen and it was hot and good. Lastly there is a "No photographs or video taking" rule. So please abide by those simple rules to show respect as we are only visitors to this wonderful country.
