Located in one of the most culturally rich states of India, the town of Saputara celebrates many festivals and evets throughout the year. Some of the festivals celebrated in Saputara are as follows:
- Dang Darbar: Dang Darbar is a tribal festival that is celebrated in the month of March every year in the Dang area. This festival takes place just before Holi and people from nearby villages come together to celebrate and perform traditional dance.
- Saputara Monsoon Festival: This festival is undertaken by the tourism board to promote monsoon tourism in Saputara. This festival is month-long and is held in the month of August every year. Activities included are local Dangi food, shows portraying traditional Adivasi lives, boat races, photography competition, handicrafts exhibition and much more.
- Paragliding Festival: Celebrated during the months of November, December and January, the paragliding festival is one of the carnivals in Saputara. Saputara has a beautiful mountain range which makes this an ideal location for paragliding.
