Gira Waterfalls - Review

These large, picturesque waterfalls are located along the Ambica River in Gujrat. The water falls 30 meters into the ponds and offer breath-taking views during the monsoons. You can sit on a nearby rock and hear the gushing sound of water as it falls into the river against the backdrop of lush green forest. There are a few shops located near the entrance that sell local handicrafts and souvenir. There are also a few eateries that sell hot noodles and coffee.

  • Must visit place. Awesome waterfall. It is the visitor's responsibility to maintain cleanliness of this Amazing place. It hurts when u see lot of plastic west, Makai & other dirty things thrown all around the falls. Authority should put so many dustbins near the waterfalls.

  • The best place on the way to saputara. U can have a great time if u go in groups. Water is all mud because of floods. They are not allowing closer as the floor is heavy. U can find variety of eatables at the falls. Weekend place to visit and have fun time.

  • Good waterfall. Very green area best place for your memorable experience of photography. Best time to visit after at least 4-5 rain innings. Water may not clean as the soil around the fall area is red so water looks always chocolatey. But you will surely enjoy the green and clean atmosphere with no nuisance around the area. We went there and how good photographs over there you need to visit it and experience it. And is in Gujarat only so you don't need to cut off that Saputara Road. Overall it's good experience to visit a Gira Falls.

  • This one is the gujrat biggest waterfall.Weather was good ambiance is cool. Greenry around the fall is to beautiful. Anyone can visit in monsoon only. There is small and safe waterfall also where you can enjoy with children safely. There are some snacks stall available there. Parking is also available and even a paid toilet facility is also there.

  • Was a good visit. Falls were running very fast during monsoon season. Bunch of locals selling souvenirs and foods to try.
