The locals have been coming around to this lovely little natural retreat for over a hundred years now, and in that time, it’s gained enough popularity to be hailed as one of the country’s top natural beuties. And to think that the NosnianWarcould have taken all that away; the trees here were indiscrimantely chopped down of rheating, and if not fotr the efforts of a team of youth ecological leaders, the park might never have been restored.

The attraction here isn’t just in the river, it’s in the parkland surrounding it; the place has a lovely network of roads to be walked. 12 kms away from the town, it’s near untouched (the odd cafe doesn’t really feel intrusive). Feed the swans and stretch your legs – this is a slice of paradise.

  • Ask around, but apparently you can hire a horse drawn coach/carriage to bring you about.

  • A number of small cafes around.

  • Very nice park. Little waterfalls. Availability to sit and enjoy the serenity of the nature. There is a place where you can eat. Really simple style. A tent and bench to sit and a old lady who makes the traditional food Cevapi. Loved it.

  • Perfectly serene and utterly beautiful surroundings. The water clarity is beyond description, as are the lush green mountains all around the park. There is a small parking lot just outside the entrance (2 KM for an hour, 5 KM for the day), although there appears to be free "street" parking along the road leading up to and beyond the entrance. There is a fee to enter the park (2 KM person), and we were allowed to bring our two dogs into the park (provided they remained leashed).

  • This is a beautiful nature park with plenty of walking trails, creeks, and even a place to done and have a beverage. The price is miniscule and we'll worth it. If you're in the area, don't fail to stop by. Walking in the park will put you at ease and make you do relaxed. Love it!

  • Nice small place with clear green water and relatively packed with restaurants. Seems to be a good way to scape the big crowds from Mostar. Very easy to access by city bus

  • Beautiful and clean. Happy they started charging entrance fee. 2KM (~1€) Glad they banned grilling outdoors, but I wish they would ban our "eastern" neighbors from bringing in gas bottles for cooking their food/tea. The spring itself seems to be again cleared up for drinking directly from it. Few years back it was not so. Seems that at least some laws are finally being implemented.
