Marine history and representation is always fascinating. Here is a museum that excels in preserving the history of marine world and its contribution to today’s world. Norogma was supposed to be the last passenger vessel of 1950 and freight ship that supplied materials to settlements from Owen Sound to Sault Ste. Marie. Today, it has been converted into a museum and offers tours that take you into a simulated marine world of cabins, passenger rooms, ships and others. This ship is currently docked at the waterfront of the Sault Ste. Marie coast offering you a perfect setting and is operated by St. Mary’s River Marine Heritage Centre.
