Spruce Haven zoo is a perfect place to take your children to if you are thinking of an outing with them. Established in 1970s, this park shelters animals of most kind in its vicinity. Owned and operated by the Marshall family, this zoo began with a purpose of saving injured animals. Through the years of its operation, it has become a haven for abandoned animals with presence of some exotic species as well. An interesting part about this zoo is that it organises “Back to nature” group hikes.
