Point Iroquois Light Station is used for marking the division line between the western end of the St. Marys River and Whitefish Bay. This lighthouse is tucked away on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior. Though the history of this lighthouse dates back to 1853, the structure we see today was built in 1870. It is home to a small museum as well where you can understand the technology of a lighthouse, how these navigational aids have developed over the years and a glimpse of the lifestyle of lightkeepers.
