The Soo Locks on the St Marys River comprises of a few locks set in a parallel way to let the boats that take visitors on a tour around the Superior Lake and Huron Lake, pass. The Soo Locks can be explored best from the park located at the edge which organizes the music show on every Wednesday during summer months. The 4th of July Fireworks over the river are a treat to eyes from the locks. In summer, the visitor centre is open and conducts boat tours. You can also check out the museum that features the miniature models of the locks along with some artefacts and informative plaques. The museum also shows the documentary films on the locks. You can watch the boats wading through the river from the covered multi-level observation deck.
