The Marin Headlands Visitor Center is a lovely visitor centre, situated at a very convenient location and offering some of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The exhibits at the centre showcase the natural history of Headland and the traces of human history in the area from the Miwoks days to the present times. You would also be able to learn the flying technique of the hawk and observe through a microscope the life thriving in the local pond. A shop there has a wonderful collection of books and guides related to the area. The employees are extremely friendly and would suggest the best places to visit while you can also get your hands on free maps and souvenirs.

  • Very nice and interesting place to visit. Great exhibit.

  • Quaint and out of the way. Worth the drive for a piece of history.

  • Informative exhibits in a wonderfully repurposed historic building. Helpful/knowledgeable staff. Restrooms.

  • Great staff, history, and sells water bottles

  • This is a great city but it costs a lot of money 💵 than every single one of the other places to live in America 🇺🇸.
