Overall we loved B Historic! There is valet parking available but we chose to park in the parking garage ourselves across the street that was only $10 overnight, so that was good. Inside is beautiful, just like the photos online, lobby, restaurant and room. The staff is also very courteous and ready to assist in any way. Not a noisy area at all and the bed and pillows we're very comfortable, so we slept well. I don't think I have anything negative to say about B Historic at all!
Our first night was not an pleasant stay... The bed was comfortable, but the room was not.... After talking with the front desk... We was moved to another room n refunded for one night.. Lazar you was excellent.... Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.... You have excellent customer service skills...... The whole staff was friendly n helpful..... I would definitely stay there again... Thomaston,Ga
The people at B Historic Savannah were wonderful. We LOVED Jordan at the front desk and our valet, Matt. They were absolutely delightful with my daughter and a real joy to get to know. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are decorated in a modern fashion. We were disappointed when we arrived at 8 o'clock that the indoor pool was closed for cleaning, since that plus the Groupon price was the reason we chose the hotel. Self-parking wasn't available by the time we arrived, so we had to pay $28 for valet parking, and once you added that plus tips for the valet, I think we ended up paying more to stay there than we would have at a river front hotel. Our toilet had issues. Thankfully, it didn't actually overflow, but it came very close. The most worrisome part to me, however, was our hotel room door would not open easily from the inside. I actually couldn't open it myself, and thankfully Matt was walking by when I tried to get out once, and he opened it from the outside. That is a fire hazard, had we needed to get out of our room in an emergency. So all in all, the hotel is gorgeous, the people are lovely and friendly, and the hotel itself is obviously trying to, but not quite succeeding in, providing an excellent hotel experience.
We stayed for a night while traveling down the East coast. The hotel is quaint, and the room was nice. The receptionist and all workers were fantastic. The only things we could really complain about was that one elevator smelled really bad (not sure if something had happened in it before we came), and the bathroom in the room could have used a refresh. Other than that it was a nice place to stay, and very close to river street!
Nice decor and clean room. But the best part of the hotel was the lovely staff. So friendly and helpful. A couple blocks from the hotel was a delicious Cuban restaurant. Only complaint is that they didn't have any water in the fitness center.
