Parco Regionale Dei Monti Lattari is a regional park in Scala, Italy. It is part of the Campania region, nestled between the Tyrrhenian Sea on one side and the southern Apennines on the other. Difference in elevation and temperatures have resulted in a variance of flora and fauna. This rich ecosystem includes sea and slopes, the intermediate areas and the higher altitudes. While the slopes are dominated by the Carob tree and the Olive tree, Holm Oak, Flowering ash and shrubs rule the intermediate areas. Chestnut, Alder, Hornbeam and Beech are some of the flora abundant in the higher altitude areas.
