This is a part of the famous Bucco Reef of the City and is known for the serene beauty of the blue waters. It is a well conserved site and is thus extremely well maintained. It was earlier on known as the Dance Pool but then renamed as the Nylon Pool by Princess Margaret on her visit in 1962.
There is a hilarious myth behind visiting this pool. It says that swimming in this pool can reduce your age by 5 years. Though the myth is impossible but the place welcomes almost 50000 visitors every year. Apart from the boat tours, another attraction here is the variety of fishes and butterflies that enhances the beauty of this pool. The name is derived from the fact that the shape and size of this is exactly that of a swimming pool.
