Samuel Huntington Birthplace in Scotland, Connecticut, is also known as The Huntington Homestead. It is a historic house museum and is listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The house dates back to the early 18th century and was the birthplace and childhood home of the American Statesman - Samuel Huntington. The house is a 2 and a half story wood-frame structure, built in the Saltbox colonial style of architecture. You may tour this National Historic Landmark between May and October, on the first and third Saturday of the month.
