With a plethora of activities provided in the vast green area that once acted as an airport, the Skypark is a popular retreat to the local people and tourists. The kids’ play area is covered with soft sand and has a number of sports equipment like slides, chairs, swings and seesaws. The open green space has basketball and soccer fields. Sheltered spaces are also provided where you can sit back and enjoy watching others play. On bright sunny days, you will see people walking, sunbathing and camping in the field. There is a skateboard arena with curvy ramps. You can walk your dogs in the wooden chipped area. There are also Barbeque pits, community center and hiking trails in the park.

  • I was at Sky park for the hops and barley festival on Saturday. Excellent location for this event and any family outings. The park has a very large playground area for younger kids, a BMX track and skate park for the teenager in your clan. While the kids are out at one those spots Mom & Dad can just relax at one of the many picnic tables. Possibly the best park in the county.

  • City run park and playgrounds and skate park and dog park and grass lawn areas for sports. There is alright free parking here. The skate park is very popular. It's down the way from the Scott's valley public library.

  • Sky park is the best! It has swings and play structures for younger kids, two half court basketball hoops for older kids and adults, a dog park, a skate board park and a huge grass field. Sky park is also close to dining and shopping on Mt. Hermon road. The only slight is the parking lot is small. Sometimes it gets busy enough that you will have to park off site and walk in.

  • Great park with lots of space. 2 playgrounds, pavilions and open grass fields(closed in winter). Dog park, skate park, bocce, pump track.

  • Family park. Has picnic facilities. Shaded tables. Trails. Petscwelcome on a leash
