The Mission Old Town Reviews & Ratings
The food here was amazing. Service was incredible. We sat outside on the patio,in 106 degree heat and literally never got hot. I would definitely recommend this to locals and tourists. Inside is definitely a place for a romantic dinner.
My experience here was excellent! I had the all you pork special, coined the pig out, which was delicious. I also had the guacamole which was prepared tableside and slightly spicier than I am used to, but I am glad I chose to make it spicy. The street corn was personally my favorite item out of everything I ordered. It’s a must order. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. I could not recommend the mission enough.
The Mission has been one of my favorite places in Old Town. Unfortunately had a very terrible experience last time I went. Had a friend visit me from NY so I made a same day reservation for 7:45 and informed associate that we might be running late. Did not receive a follow up call and upon arrival (~15 min late) was informed that the table was given to someone else then placed out in the patio. The waitress was extremely inattentive, appetizers were brought out at the same time as our food and we randomly got our check before we had time to order coffee/dessert. Very atypical service but the food was great.
As a food executive I’m as critical as it gets when it comes to restaurants. EVERYTHING about this place was AMAZING! From the first-class service to flavorful plates we couldn’t stop talking about- Kudos to the team at Mission for what was hands-down my best restaurant experience of 2019!
Table side guacamole is the best! It's shareable, and fun. Great with drinks. Dine before the movies, meet friends for a casual bite. Weather permitting, great outdoor ambiance. Enjoy it!
