  • I spend thousands every year at Avis (for work). I'm I appreciated? Nope... What I would give for some my time back Avis has wasted. Work for Avis and want to know more? Just ask... Go with National. They appreciate their customers.

  • That's my first time to write review in google because of unprofessional service from one employee. I went to Africa American man who was in the front desk after waiting 4 hours of my car booking. When I was waiting, the man was speaking badly to his coworkers and attempting to threat them by record them if they didn't follow his order! When I went to him to get my rental car, he was lacking of education and tried to ask me to witness against his coworker. After that, I was told I have to use credit card not d-card. I told him I can make transfer the money to my credit car, but he kept saying that didn't work and showed me paper said only credit car is accepted. 1st I was taking for more than 4 hours and that unprofessional worker didn't want me to call my bank by using the office telephone because my cellphone is out of battery. I turned offer I site down because I was disappointed and frustrated because I must travel to out the state and I paid for all my travel included hotel. There was an Asian girl who was work in Avis next to that unprofessional man. I went to her for my booking. She offered me the telephone to call my bank to make the transaction of money in order to pay my rental car. That an African American was yelling at her, telling I came to me and my card declined and she must did process my request! Excuse me ! Is that your father office?! After waiting long time the bank transfer the money to credit card and I got rental car. However, I would like to you before hire anyone in future you must make sure that s/he is an education person. My whole plan almost got canceled because of a person who lack of education and customer service.

  • This is the worst experience I've ever had. The counter told me that I am not 25 years old, so I have to pay with the credit card. But when I reserved the card, I used debit card to paid and the website also charged me the underage fees. Yet, when I got there, the counter want me to pay it again with credit card. I wondered what's going on. Also, all the counters' attitudes were very bad. I can tell that they see me only 22 years old so they treated me so badly. Because the woman was so friendly when talking to the previous customers, yet when it's my turn, she started behaved like Avis don't rent the cars to underage. Well, at least I learned the experience. If I can rate this 0 stars, I would do so.

  • Nothing to do with the car I rented, but about their great customer service. Yesterday, I returned the Avis car I rented after a hard drive after the Total Solar Eclipse, and left my camera which had pictures of the eclipse. I contacted the office at the Portland airport. Within an hour, they found it, and will send it to me without a fee. This is the first time that anything I left in a rental car is returned to me. I am very happy and impressed.

  • I liked this Avis location, it has lots of registers that are friendly and professional. But the best thing is that if you are a member and booked car in advance you even do not need to go to the counter. Just go directly in the renting area, find your name on the display along with the car slot number, then go and take the car you rented! That is easy.
