On the historic and scenic route of Yellowstone Trail, the Blewett Mountain Pass in the Wenatchee Mountains stands at an elevation of 4,124 feet. The pass runs through the Wenatchee River to the north and the Yakima River to the south. It connects the Interstate 90 highway and the US 2 highway to connect the popular cities such as Seattle, Ellensburg, Monroe, and Wenatchee. Formerly known as Swauk Pass, this scenic pass through the colourful deciduous and mountain forest remains closed in winter due to heavy snowfall. You need to take permission from the Forest Service in the Wenatchee National Forest if you wish to traverse through this stunning pass in warmer months.
