Etta's - Review

The Etta’s seafood restaurant of the Northwest Pacific offers scrumptious spicy salmon, clam, crab and other seafood dishes in a cozy and comfy atmosphere by the Salish Sea. The diverse ecosystem of the area favours their menu items. Overlooking the bustling Pike Market place, the restaurant is popular for its seasonal seafood ranging from Dungenes Crab cakes to Tuna Sashimi, Manilla Clam Chowder to Corned Beef Hash and Crab egg Benedict and the list goes on. Some of their lunch, brunch and dinner items are Oysters on the Half Shell, True Cod Fish & Chips, Crab Salad, Pan Roasted Mushrooms, Kale Caesar, Etta’s “Rub With Love” Salmon and Pacific Scallops. Try their Quince & Fuji Apple Cobbler or Triple Coconut Cream Pie for dessert. Visit during the Crabby Hour to enjoy crab dishes with wine, beer and cocktails.

  • My family and I were tourists for the week in Seattle and had some bad experiences with other restaurants making us feel out of place and unwelcome. When we stumbled upon Etta’s we didn’t know what to expect we were just starving and tired. What a pleasant surprise! They treated us with respect and kindness. The most friendly staff I’ve ever met. The food was incredible!!! We will go back to visit Seattle and Etta’s will be our first stop.

  • Just ate at Etta's. We were in the pike place market which was too busy, so decided to try this place instead. We're so glad we did! All of the staff was super friendly, and all of us thought our food was delicious. My husband loves French toast, and did it wasthe best French toast he's ever eaten. I got the crab Benedict which was great.

  • The food was amazing. I had the fish and chips combo and my only complaint is that there were too many fries. They are the shoestring ones but there were just so many! Otherwise, everything was great and the service was amazing.

  • Totally amazing food and service. We went for lunch and it was so good we went back for dinner. Jennifer was our server and was so friendly and helpful it really made the exceptional food even better. Even the beverages were perfect. It seems most of the vegetables come from a farm owned by by the restaurant. Very close to Public Market and across the street from a small park with views of the water. Just perfect.

  • At first it seemed like a fancy place but turned out it was a little more casual. Not such a great variety of food. Can't remember what I had but can't say I really enjoyed it. Maybe the seafood would have been a better bet??? No complaints with service but we did had to stand around waiting for 10 minutes to basically be acknowledged and seated. Can't say I would go back again though. Seems a little pretentious to me.
