Seattle has the Space Needle that is a building with a view, but there’s one other place in the city with an equally inspiring view. From Kerry Park, one can get a panoramic view of Seattle city with all the famous landmarks in sight. You can even see ferries in the Hudson Bay! The park has an art installation called Changing Forms by Dorris Chase.
This is a wonderful spot for photography. Imagine catching a view of the Seattle skyline at dawn with a little fog or dressed up in lights after dusk? It’s breathtaking to say the least. On clear days, one can even spot Mt. Rainer in the distance so you never know when might be your lucky day! The kids can sit at the sculptures and have fun on the basketball court and a small park at a lower level meant for children.

Kerry Park, Seattle Reviews - Write a Review
I come here every time I visit Seattle in summer. It's got the epic view and amazing housing around! I love walking around this place. On countless occasions I've brought a cooler of beer and wine with plastic cups while I drank, soaked up the sun, and watched all the tourists!! Don't miss this in Seattle.
One of the most touristy things to do when visiting Seattle. It is where you can see the famous Seattle skyline! Best time to visit Kerry Park would probably be just before the sun sets, so that you can spend a couple of hours watching the skyline during the day and the night. Both the views are breath taking! On a perfectly sunny day you can even see the mount Rainier.
Beautiful view, park below the scenery spot. I live near by and can say I see many many tourists go through here. Only like 3% of them seem to know of the other view point down the street. You get great shots of the Seattle skyline from here and can see the occasional bus of old British folks, lots of exchange student type folk and anyone whose visiting or taking a look at the neighborhood.
Good for getting pictures of the city, space needle is up close, good for sunsets with clear skies. But only good to spend 10 mins. There. Because it's just a small strip of grass next to a railing. Not what a "park" normally feels like, but still a great view.
Outstanding views and a great place to watch the sunset. Take your camera and make sure you get a good spot to shoot because this park gets busy and crowded quickly, especially around sunset when everybody wants to be there for the beautiful sunset views of downtown Seattle skyline and the Space Needle. When in Seattle, make sure you visit this part at sunset! 👍
