This park, just a little over half an acre in size, gets a lot of attention primarily for the intriguing totem poles and wood-carvings scattered around it. They were made by by Duane Pasco in the 1970s. Also at the the park, for those who come to honor them, is the Seattle Fallen Firefighters Memorial by Hai Ying Wu. The area surround the park is quite charming - full of art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. In the park you'll find bistro tables and chairs, bocce ball courts, food trucks and reading room.

  • The Seattle Park revitalization effort has really made parks like this one amazing. They have events from wine tastings to games like outdoor giant chess and ping pong ball. The restaurants that have popped up there recently have added a collective culture of sweet smells, eye catching colorful foods, and vibrant laughs from people enjoying the park. It has been a great effort on behalf of people of Seattle.

  • A nice spot to grab lunch with various park amenities. Surrounded by some historic Seattle architecture. There is often a performer on the weekdays and always quite a few people if the weather is nice. It could use some sort of covered space for eating during bad weather. As with most parks there are quite a few homeless people but they mostly keep to themselves. Overall a nice place to visit.

  • Old Seattle is picturesque, varied in stores, pleasant for walking and viewing. There are free buses to tourist sites nearby. Stayed at the Best Western in 105 year old building for a great weekend centered on Pioneer Place.

  • We fell in love with this area. It is shady and beautiful right in the middle of Seattle. Bright colored tables and chairs, ping pong table, chess set, and other games. It just draws you in to sit and relax for awhile. Loved it, you will too!

  • So much fun. Ping-pong tables, foose ball tables awesome place to people watch
