  • The Cathedral is a beautiful representation of a worship space that draws people into the Word of God and the Eucharist. The Liturgy was very fine. The locals the, parish members, reach out to visitors like me to show hospitality. That shows it is a community of faith. Speaking of hospitality the parish community reaches out to the homeless population in the city of Seattle. They have comprehensive programs to offer people. The faith celebrated by the members of the Cathedral parish is put into practice on the streets. When you visit for prayer and the Liturgy be sure to take time to take in the history presentation found in the foyer.

  • St. James Cathedral is beyond beautiful! I visit Seattle almost every year and had never stopped to visit St. James Cathedral. Located close to the downtown area, I stopped to light two candles, say a prayer and thank the Lord for everything. I visited the gift shop next door and will bring home some necklaces and rosaries. I do plan to make it to mass on my next stay in Seattle.

  • It's a place where you can get a hot meal I really think the food is nutritious it's clean ppl are nice when I visited😊👍

  • Yes it is a Catholic Church, but it is also a work of art. Completed in 1907, renovated and rededicated to the city in 1916 after collapse of the dome. Had been designated city landmark as of 1984. As cathedrals in the Western United States St James Cathedral in Seattle is a must see. The art, the architecture, the reverence are spectacular to see.

  • Most beautiful church I have ever seen in my life. Wonderful people. Beautiful service, great haunting choir.
