This four story shopping mall, while not without its charm, isn't the most popular shopping centre. It has a reasonable of stores and dining facilities. Visitors usually end up crowd watching, and it's a place for the locals from surrounding neighborhoods to gather. But the centre's main appeal may be its overlooking balcony where notable people sometimes make appearances and give speeches. As far as malls go, it's pretty functional.

So many memories of this mall, it's changed quite a bit, no more food court, and s lot of the original stores are gone but it's still a cool place to take your kids. The monorail to the space Needle and science center is super cool. They still have the sweet fountain outside and there are fun things for kids to do, a playground, chess, connect four, and ping pong tables. Good stuff 👍
This place was better years ago. Now they've got rid of all the small shops. 2 stars instead of 1 because they have restrooms and easy access to the train.
I felt safe and comfortable while browsing in a top quality shopping centre. A brilliant range of gifts and nick nacks. Easy access via the monorail. A very inviting shopping experience.
I passed through Westlake Center recently on my way to the Seattle Center. With 2 hungry boys in tow, I figured I would get some lunch before departing on the Monorail. True, it's been a few years since the last time I was there, but imagine how I felt when I discovered that the colorful, vibrant food court had been replaced by a sterile, monochromatic department store. You used to be cool, Westlake, you used to be cool.
this place has completely changed from what it was back in 1990, stores have come and gone and they got rid of the food court upstairs. but it's still a fun place to shop and hang out.
