Cathedral Rock, Sedona Reviews
We hiked this w our 5 & 7 yr old daughters (first hike ever). Parked the car and hit the trail. No fee to enter. It took 30 min to reach the stream. If you take the stream up just a little further it gets deeper and you can swim much more. Beautiful view of Cathedral Rock and a mini slide-rock.
One of the best hikes I’ve done. It was difficult and fun all at the same time. I also think that hikers of all skill levels can do this. Such great views from the top. So beautiful
Great hiking for families do as much or little as you can. Trails are well marked. It was a great time and very beautiful. Bring plenty of water
Great energy in this area. We did a quick and easy hike around the perimeter of the area, but definitely would love to come back more prepared to really do some climbing. This should be obvious but - I'd highly suggest wearing clothing and shoes that you don't mind being stained red. The dirt is short powdery and certainly csm be staining.
Great place! I would plan the climb at an hour! I did it in 20 minutes and was beat down tired from it! It was great at the top and worth the climb! The meditation time was good as well! Greeting down in the dark was a pain and I'm eternally grateful for the near full moon! This is a great place for a spiritual venture! I just recommend better planning than I did!
