  • Great hike with kids!!!!!! We have five kids, ages two to ten! This was a great hike with them because no matter how far you go the views are spectacular and the rocks everywhere make it easy to climb. We went in October and it was raining slightly which made a few small waterfalls. Our toddler loved playing in those areas. The kids liked making rock piles and said it was on the their top favorite hikes. It’s .3 miles to a large flat area. I stopped at that point with our two year old but my husband took our older kids up further. Views are fabulous. Photos are fantastic. We have an absolute blast here! It’s only $5. The parking lot was kind of small. I would imagine it might get crowded at peak season.

  • One of the best hike I have ever done. Do not be fooled by 1 mile, for what they have short in distance, is made up of in height. 75% of this hike is rock climbing, hence the accurately named difficulty level. I do not recommend this hike after rainy weather, for it CAN BE DANGEROUS!!! But overall, one of the best hikes Sedona has to offer.

  • Great hiking for families do as much or little as you can. Trails are well marked. It was a great time and very beautiful. Bring plenty of water

  • One of the best hikes I’ve done. It was difficult and fun all at the same time. I also think that hikers of all skill levels can do this. Such great views from the top. So beautiful

  • We hiked this w our 5 & 7 yr old daughters (first hike ever). Parked the car and hit the trail. No fee to enter. It took 30 min to reach the stream. If you take the stream up just a little further it gets deeper and you can swim much more. Beautiful view of Cathedral Rock and a mini slide-rock.
