Bayview State Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Last minute booking. Got the last space in the tent section because of a dog show going on. It was kind of fun to see the beautiful Labradors there and meet interesting people. We wedged our camper into a tent site but it was very quiet and we had a lovely campfire. The ranger will bring campfire wood to your site, just flag him down. There is a path down to the beach and it's very lovely. They also have camping cabins most of which have which views of the water. Some of the campsites also have of views of the water as well.

  • Great park with camping, picnic and beach areas. The bay is mostly mud flats, but there is some sandy beach to enjoy. Not far to the south is a great trail for walking or running. To the north is the Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve which welcomes the public with beach access and short upland trails.

  • Very Dog Friendly campground!!! Lots of happy doggy parents camping with their fur babies enjoying the view and amenities. The campground staff were so friendly and seemed happy to be there. Beautiful sunsets to boot!

  • This is a great campground! It's right on the waters of Padilla Bay, so it has a lot of wildlife to see. The park is also close to LaConner which is a fantastic tourist town with many antique shops, a nice native museum, a waterfront boardwalk, and a delicious restaurant called the Calico Cupboard.

  • Great park to go watch the sunset. hopefully someday I can get to camp here and just soak in the silence and beauty this park brings with it. I have loads of pictures of sunsets from this location and I always go back whenever i get a chance
