Seki has four seasons each with their unique qualities. Since it gets hot and sticky in summer, it is the only season when it is not a great idea to visit Seki.
Summer: The summer months, June, July, August when the temperature spans from 20 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius is off-season for tourists. While June is extremely rainy and wet, August is hot and humid.
Winter: December, January, February when the temperature spans from 10 degree Celsius to 2 degree Celsius is a good season to visit Seki. The weather will be undoubtedly cold so carry plenty of winter-wear but there aren’t too many tourists so it is a great time to explore the city.
Spring: March, April and May when the temperature spans from 6 degree Celsius to 23 degree Celsius are the best time to visit Seki. The weather is simply beautiful and the cherry blossoms make the whole of Japan glow like a blushing bride.
Autumn: From September to November when the temperature spans from 21 degree Celsius to 15 degree Celsius, this time is a peak season to visit Seki. The autumn leaves make the landscapes more prominent and beautiful.
So, the best time to visit Seki is between the months of March to May and September to November.
