Tall impressive Merlion statue. People are going up "inside the lion's mouth" to see the scenery. The structures around the Merlion place are amazing... go also under it in the gallery...it's quite crowded but Sentosa island deserves a visit even if you don't have a budget to visit all the objectives... lots of good things are free and the designers and architects of this complex deserve a medal :) After you visit the Merlion continue your exploration through the right of the statue by the waterfall!
The iconic symbol of Singapore. Only other place you can find it would be at Marina Bay. Well kept and has a really good view.
The biggest Merlion is in Sentosa beside Imbiah Station. If you miss to see Merlion at Mariana Bay, you will definitely get it at Sentosa for free. The surroundings of the Sentosa is very nice to look at. However you need to have one full day to hangover Sentosa. Though the attractions in Sentosa is not free. I recommend to see the Madame Tussauds there.
Walked to Sentosa Merlion with family from Harbour Front MRT station thru Sentosa boardwalk, entrance fee S$1.00 is waived till 31/12/2018. If go there by cycling, fee $2.00 also waived till same date. Great photos can be taken along the way to Sentosa Merlion. Need to buy ticket if going up to the top of Merlion.
So I was wondering why Singapore liked the Merlion so much. They had two of these creatures in their country. One at the Merlion Park and another right here on Sentosa island. Turns out that it is the guardian of prosperity of Singapore.
