Bugaksan or the Seoul Fortress Wall is one of the iconic tourist destinations in Seoul. This place is in actuality a wall built along the face of the Bugaksan Mountain.

Korean folklore has a lot of stories that are related to this place and it hence holds a special place in the lives of the Korean locals. Sightseeing is basically the only activity that can be carried out in this location. The mountainous terrain and centuries old architecture can provide a breathtaking escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

  • This is a FANTASTIC walk! The trail is very well laid out. There are a couple of rocky points to climb over but guide rails make it easier. At the top you are rewarded with a SPECTACULAR view of the city. 😊

  • A good exercise to trek up the hill and then be rewarded with a very nice view of Seoul from the top. Try going up from one place and coming down from another route. You will be pleasantly surprised by the things you see along the way.

  • That's breathtaking views to see a wide spectrum of Seoul including "Namsan". Personally I recommend here rather than "Namsan" because hanyang ancient wall has deeply history and calm moods come apart from noisy city crowds.

  • An easy hike up to enjoy beautiful views of Seoul.

  • beautiful tracking trail.
