Visiting Ihwajang will give you a glimpse of how the life of the first president of South Korea was. It is the house of the former statesmen Syngman Rhee and has been converted into the presidential memorial museum. Guided tours in Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese languages are offered here. The surrounding gardens where Syngman Rhee used to take a walk are also well-manicured. Keep in mind that you will have to reserve your time slot at least 3 days in advance.
